Haymarket Edinburgh

Haymarket Edinburgh

Haymarket Edinburgh is a £350m transformational mixed-use development regenerating a prominent four-acre site in Edinburgh’s west end which has lain vacant for over 50 years.

The redeveloped site provides 559,860 sq ft of Grade A office space across two buildings in addition to a 362-bed four star Hyatt hotel.  Scottish fund manager Baillie Gifford is relocating its 1,200 employees to the development, signing up to 280,000 sq ft on nett office space over a 20-year lease.

The offices are being delivered to BREEAM Excellent, Wired Score Platinum - Smart Technology ready and EPC ‘A’ Certificate standards.

The buildings have been designed around a landscaped public square providing leisure and retail opportunities along with social and event space for building users and local residents.

The project has required extensive liaison with Network Rail and Scottish Water due to the buildings' foundations being located between the main Glasgow to Edinburgh rail tunnels.
