The five storey Grade A building comprises two wings - one on each side of a glass atrium - housing over 2,000 members of staff from the council, NHS and key local partners for more efficient and collaborative working.
The building has been rated as BREEAM 'Excellent' thanks to sustainable features including a green roof, solar thermal hot water, photovoltaics and biomass boilers.

The project involved enabling works comprising demolition, site clearance, remediation and utilities diversions together with the construction of a new exposed concrete framed office building with unitised cladding systems and multi-mode heating, cooling and ventilation systems. External works included rebuilding the river wall.
