The Lexicon
The Lexicon, Bracknell comprises the £240m regeneration of Bracknell town centre and includes the creation of 580,000 sq ft of new retail and leisure space, supported by a 1,300 space multi-storey car park and landscaped public spaces.
The new town centre features a new 80,000 sq ft Fenwick store within an iconic building as well as a number of well-known fashion outlets and eateries.
G&T's Project Management team was based part-time on site, which allowed us to develop effective working relationships and understand requirements from key stakeholders, including Bracknell Forest Council, town centre management and existing retail tenants.
In our capacity as Employer's Agents we ensured a robust and effective change management process, as well as managing and co-ordinating a number of satellite projects. These included the Greening Works - an urban refreshment programme for the main approaches to the town centre, the refurbishment and extension of the 15th Century Bull Inn, façade uplift works to the High Street and an extensive highways improvement programme.
