Cutty Sark Conservation Project

Cutty Sark Conservation Project

The project involved the conservation and lifting of the Grade I Listed 1869 Cutty Sark Tea Clipper, which was reopened by HM The Queen in 2012.

The works, which began in November 2006, have greatly improved access to the site. This includes lift access, touch tours and live web-cam links to inaccessible areas of the ship.

The project also included the construction of a new visitor experience that provides teaching and exhibition facilities by day and managed events and corporate dining by night.
