The London Library

Founded in 1841, The London Library is one of the world's largest independent lending libraries. The building itself is housed in a collection of Victorian and 20th Century buildings in St James's Square and is currently undergoing a phased expansion and refurbishment to bring its reader facilities and book storage up to 21st Century standards.

G&T provided Cost Management for the library's new Reading and Art Rooms, opening up new working and studying spaces, together with the extension into TS Elliot House and the refurbishment of the issue hall.

The works were phased to suit funding and ensure minimum disruption to the library's 7,000 members.
