GRADUATES
As a graduate, you will join us and complete the structured training programme. The programme is designed to prepare you to sit your APC in the shortest possible timeframe.
For cognate Graduates, this programme will take two years to complete. For non-cognate graduates joining us from non RICS accredited backgrounds, your programme will take 2.5 years as you complete your structured training alongside a RICS accredited MSc apprenticeship.
Regardless of discipline, you will remain in the same team throughout the programme. However, we will ensure that you will gain enough experience to confidently sit your APC and hopefully pass first time. You will be allocated a Supervisor and Counsellor who will be available to support you on your APC journey, as well as a designated learning and development lead who will be there for any general issues you may encounter, including helping you to settle in during your first few weeks.
APPRENTICES
On our Apprenticeship programme, you will be joining us on a Level 6 Apprenticeship depending on your current education level. You will spend four days working and one day studying in order to achieve your BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management. The L6 course will take you four and a half years to complete.
Those Level 6 apprentices studying their BSc will be enrolled onto the internal apprenticeship development programme as part of the Chartership Programme. At the start of year 3 you will start your RICS structured training as part of our industry leading APC programme.
INDUSTRIAL PLACEMENT
Those joining us as an Industrial Placement student during their third year of their university studies will follow the same structure as our first-year graduates. Essentially, you will have completed the first year of the Chartership Programme equipping you with vast amounts of knowledge and skills that are ready to put into practice when you return to G&T to become Chartered.
