David commented,
“I am excited and honoured to step into the role of RICS Matrics Chairman. My job is to help support the RICS’s agenda, raise the profile of the organisation and the profession as a whole and support young surveyors coming into the industry. My personal agenda for the year will be raising awareness of mental health and diversity, which I think are important challenges for our industry to tackle. If we can get better at talking ߣߣƵapp these issues I believe it will be a significant help in changing attitudes and ultimately attracting and retaining great people into rewarding and fulfilling careers in an exciting and fast paced industry.”
RICS Matrics relies on members getting involved and sharing their views as well as providing a range of networking, social and sporting events for fun and friendship. With over 40 local RICS Matrics groups their reach across the UK is growing.
