Caring for others this Christmas
G&T’s Caring for Others This Christmas campaign is making a difference to those who need it most this festive season.
Following our previous community-led Christmas campaigns and building on the foundation of our Business with Purpose framework, we are delighted to support charitable causes close to our hearts, representing the local communities where we work.
This year, the charities chosen by our local office representatives are:
Bristol
empowers marginalised 16-25-year-olds, often victims of domestic abuse, asylum seekers, care leavers and youth recovering from homelessness, through food and community. They are increasing access to nutritious, sustainable and fresh food, building confidence and food independence, and connecting them with employment opportunities through Bristol’s network of restauranteurs.
London
supports victims of modern slavery, women and children who have experienced domestic abuse, young care leavers and older people. From providing housing, to helping people receive mental health services, they support people at moments of crisis and enable them to build a better life in the long term. In addition to donating to the charity, a team of volunteers from the firm has purchased Christmas gifts for every woman and child living in their Hackney, Tower Hamlets and Ealing refuges.
North of England
- has been supporting people with learning disabilities for over 25 years. They help them to live the lives they choose, whether they need support 24 hours a day or just a few hours a week.
- provides palliative care and support for local people with cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. It is a friendly, warm and safe place at the heart of the local community, with expert services to support patients, their families and friends, both in the hospice and in the community.
- helps people over 18 from across Greater Manchester who are affected by life-limiting illnesses. It also supports their loved ones and carers. St Ann's Hospice is proud to be one of the oldest and largest adult hospices outside of London.
Scotland
- improves the lives of disadvantaged children and young people through a grant-giving programme. Their mission is to be there when needed, helping combat poverty, illness and neglect and make living with additional needs a little bit easier.
- provides Christmas gifts for specifically nominated vulnerable and disadvantaged children, young people and families in Glasgow who are unlikely to receive anything this Christmas. What began as a small collection of Glasgow South Side mums five years ago now delivers over 2,000 gifts each year.
As proud members of the network, we also support Article 25, a leading architectural NGO, in its Christmas campaign to transform lives.
From the 3rd to 9th December, every donation to Article 25 will be matched through the initiative, doubling the impact to help build safe schools, homes and healthcare facilities for vulnerable children in Tanzania as well as supporting their other transformative projects.

We will promote all our Christmas charities on social media to highlight their outstanding work. Please like and share our updates with your networks to help spread the word.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
