Hardman Square Pavilion

Hardman Square Pavilion

Hardman Square Pavilion is a four-storey timber frame structure located in the heart of Spinningfields on the site of the former Law Courts, housing The Ivy restaurant.

The 1,150m² pavilion building, designed by Sheppard Robson, is the only structure on the Spinningfields development to be built from timber and includes two cantilevers at either end of the building.

Prefabricated and then assembled on site, the innovative building incorporates elements of Hardman Square's natural greenery through the use of external trellises, plant boxes and gabion baskets.
