10 St Giles Square

10 St Giles Square

The former restaurant space at the foot of the iconic Grade II* Listed Centre Point tower, has been repurposed into the new European headquarters of Japanese developer and investor, Kajima.

Designed by Gibson Thornley Architects, this Cat A and Cat B fit-out completed in February 2021 delivered circa 7,000sqft of self-contained office space within the Link Building at Centre Point, accessed from the new public square.

The design for the office, having minimal effect on the existing building by retaining and enhancing the principle heritage features of the space, delivered a large single span office complete with two accessible terraces to the North and South overlooking New Oxford Street and St Giles Square.

The open plan office with exposed soffit used the raised access floor for distributing mechanical and electrical services, with feature up-lighting to the exposed beams and soffit.

Meeting rooms, cellular offices, toilets and kitchen were installed on the East and West side of the floor plate, further enhancing the open plan contemporary design of the office.
