Capacity 2025 (CAP25)

Despite already being the largest liquified natural gas (LNG) terminal in Europe, National Grid Grain LNG is currently undergoing expansion works to increase its capacity even further.

These expansion works comprise the construction of a new 190,000m³ LNG storage tank, the installation of associated processing plant, the refurbishment of existing facilities within the terminal, as well as the incorporation of additional boil-off gas compression provisions and installation of further LNG pumps and submerged vaporisers.
