City Labs 2.0

CityLabs 2.0

Citylabs 2.0 is the first phase of a new development on the Central Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (CMFT) campus in Manchester's Oxford Road corridor.

The new facility will comprise 92,000 sq ft of high specification, flexible office, laboratory and clinical space across six floors. Designed by Sheppard Robson, the scheme will also include extensive external landscaping, new gardens and public realm.

Resources will be shared with the proposed Citylabs 3.0, which will include collaborative meeting areas as well as spaces for dining, public exhibitions and conferences.

This joint venture between MSP and CMFT is part of a multi-million pound expansion to offer state of the art workspace for health and medical technology businesses. The new biomedical centre of excellence will enable biomedical companies to grow and co-create new health products, in collaboration with the NHS and academia.
