Engine Manufacturing Facility - Jaguar Landrover
Phase 1 of the project comprises a new machine hall and an engine assembly workshop spanning circa 73,000m虏 on the i54 site near Wolverhampton.聽 The project scope was then extended to include an additional assembly workshop.
The two main buildings - machine hall and assembly hall - are divided by a third, two-storey building which accommodates the main reception area, conference and exhibition space, staff and visitor restaurant, offices and meeting rooms.
Construction of the external envelope comprises a curtain wall and cladded structural steel frame, with specialist ground floor slabs, pre-cast planks and metal staircases internally.聽 There is a mixture of proprietary and glazed partitions to form the designated areas.
