Mathematical Sciences & Computer Science Building

New 9,160m² state of the art teaching, learning and research facility, located on the University's Upper Mountjoy Campus, will house the Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science departments of Durham University.

Designed by Ryder Architecture, the building is one of the first major projects of the University Estate Masterplan 2017-2027 and provides a variety of teaching and study spaces, including an Enterprise Hub, collaborative break-out areas and a 120-person lecture theatre as well as a number of academic offices.

Work commenced on site in November 2018 with the facility due to open for the start of the 2020/2021 academic year.
