Olympia

The £1.2 billion regeneration of Olympia is set to be London's newest cultural landmark. A destination for art, culture, education, entertainment, exhibitions, music, food, drink and work. The scheme is expected to attract 15 million visitors annually.

G&T was appointed to support the team to develop and plan for the Estates management and FM requirements of the new development.  This included setting out the full scope of services identifying the needs of the exhibitions business and future tenants and developing a detailed service charge cost estimate and apportionment model, as well as reviewing the occupiers' guide.

The team developed several options for the management team structure encompassing roles and responsibilities criteria alongside a procurement and contracting strategy which included a detailed job description for the Estate Director role.

Benefits included:

  • Organisation structure options for the Estates and FM management team
  • Detailed and customisable service charge cost estimation and apportionment model to support lease negotiations
  • Role specific job descriptions for key FM services positions
