Parkinson Building - Language Centre

Parkinson Building - Language Centre

Located in the historic Parkinson Building, the Language Centre has undergone a significant refurbishment to create new state-of-the-art teaching facilities for students and space for staff.

This exciting transformation will ensure the Language Centre continues to provide high quality teaching and support to students and facilities for staff while also remaining a key gateway to the university for many international students.

The new facilities will provide a modern and attractive learning environment with refurbished common and pastoral areas, a new reception/student support area together with breakout areas and private booths for group or individual study.

The innovative teaching spaces will benefit from new audio visual equipment and sector-leading technology to allow for collaborative teaching methods. New staff facilities including kitchen areas and breakout space.

Improved lighting and ventilation make for a more comfortable and energy efficient environment.
