The Marshall Building

The Marshall Building

44 Lincoln’s Inn Fields/The Marshall Building is the next major project of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

The building was purchased by LSE from Cancer Research UK (CRUK) in 2013. The existing building is a purpose built and laboratory building bounded by two listed buildings, the Royal College of Surgeons and the “Old Curiosity Shop”. The current building comprises eight storeys and three basements.

G&T has been appointed to provide Cost Consultancy services and will work alongside Patrick Watson of 3PM and Nick Schumann of Schumann Consult to deliver the School’s most high profile project to date.

British investor and philanthropist, Paul Marshall, is part funding the redevelopment and the new building will house the Marshall Institute for Philanthropy and Social Entrepreneurship incorporating teaching, academic, research and sports facilities.
