Panels of MDF in a rack

Tricoya Ventures UK

The world's first Tricoya® wood chip acetylation plant is set to revolutionise MDF panels.  The plant will manufacture wood chips, which will then be used to make extremely durable, stable and sustainable Tricoya® MDF panels.

Unlike traditional MDF panels, Tricoya® panels can be used for external construction and wet applications, and come with a 50-year above ground and 25-year in ground guarantee.

The project is being funded, built and operated by a consortium of companies.  The plant also received funding from the Green Port Growth Programme and from the EU's LIFE programme.

G&T is providing full time cost engineering to manage the costs through the design and the construction on site including all civils, mechanical, pipework, electrical and associated facilities for the plant to commence production.
