16 Palace Street

The project involves the refurbishment of a commercial building in Victoria focusing on energy upgrades to help achieve the client’s Net Zero and ESG requirements.

All gas fuelled plant will be replaced with energy efficient all electric for the majority of the building’s tenants. To achieve this the construction programme is phased to accommodate seasonal requirements with heating plant replaced during the summer months and the cooling provisions changed in the winter.

Detailed validation of the existing building services was carried out at the commencement of the project to ascertain what may be retained to reduce the embodied carbon impact of new installations and achieve the best value possible for the client.
