Arkwright House

Arkwright House

The refurbishment and extension of one of Manchester’s iconic buildings, Arkwright House, is now complete.

Originally built for the English Sewing & Cotton Company in a design by renowned local artist Harry S Fairhurst, the Grade II Listed city centre building now provides 98,500 sq ft of Grade A office accommodation.

Works included sympathetic restoration to the original stair cores with Terrazzo staircases set against the original art deco wall tiles, new lifts and contemporary feature lighting. The new seventh floor penthouse suite has floor to ceiling glazing offering views across the city.
