Camden Lock Village

Camden Lock Village

This mixed-use redevelopment and regeneration development includes eight new buildings of three to nine storeys providing boutique shopping, cafés and restaurants, an art-house cinema and 195 residential apartments.

The scheme also includes Artisan manufacturing workshops, an Artisan market, a food quarter, flexible commercial co-working space, three public spaces and a new primary school.

There were a number of challenges to overcome, including the site being intersected by a series of live railway viaducts across its full length together with the restrictions of working alongside the adjacent Regents Canal. Site conditions beneath the ground included both the LUL Northern Line and a National Grid oil insulated power line.
