Corrieshalloch Gorge

Corrieshalloch Gorge

Corrieshalloch Gorge near Ullapool boasts a waterfall, historic suspension bridge and mile-long canyon river which attracts around 140,000 visitors every year.

National Trust for Scotland is undertaking a £2.3m project to create a new visitor centre and "gateway to nature" attraction at this remote nature reserve.

Part funded by the Natural and Cultural Heritage Fund, the sensitively designed visitor centre will provide catering facilities, toilets and wi-fi connection. Improved parking facilities and paths together with improved wayfinding and interpretation works will further add to the visitor experience.

G&T is delivering a range of refurbishment and new build works to enhance the visitor experience at the conservation charity's sites across the country.
