Greenwich Peninsula Golf Driving Range
Greenwich Peninsula's new state of the art 60-bay two-tier driving range includes private entertaining space at the back of each bay.
The driving range forms part of the larger Greenwich Peninsula redevelopment that aims to transform the area into one of the most desirable residential locations on the southern banks of the Thames.
G&T worked alongside Kettle Collective architects and Blakedown contractors to construct this one stop destination including 20,000m² of playing green and driving range astroturf, with 300m² of sport retail space and a riverside restaurant overlooking Canary Wharf and the Thames. The Vinothec Compass restaurant will be one of the driving range's main attractions and is connected to a wine bar that stocks up to 600 different varieties.

"The golf driving range was an exemplary project to demonstrate collaboration between client, contractor, design team and end users to achieve a near impossible programme, overcoming some potential 'show stoppers' from week-to-week to achieve something quite remarkable."Eddie Elcomb
