The Beaumont

The Beaumont

The Beaumont Hotel has undergone a phased refurbishment and extension to redevelop this Grade II Listed building. The original 1920s’ interior design has been maintained, keeping the unique external character of the building and ensuring it is reflective of the local vernacular.

Phase 1 allowed the hotel to reopen its doors to guests after the COVID pandemic and involved the redesign and refurbishment of the entrance hall, reception, lounge, the Colony Grill restaurant and the bar on the ground floor as well as the spa and gym in the basement. Two guest rooms were stripped out and refitted, allowing operator and guest feedback on the design to be incorporated into Phase 2.

Phase 2 included the demolition of the adjacent three-storey building whilst retaining the existing façade. A new six-storey building was completed, adding 29 new guest rooms alongside two function rooms and front of house amenity space on the ground floor.
