Construction's Going Digital
G&T Partner Tony Burton took part in a panel discussion on the 'Changing Role of the Quantity Surveyor' at the RICS Quantity Surveying and Construction Conference.
The RICS conference focussed on digitisation within the industry following the recent warning in the Farmer Review that construction must 'modernise or die'.
The 'Changing Role of the Quantity Surveyor' discussion was chaired by Dan Hughes, Director of Data Products, RICS and Tony sat alongside other panellists including Martin Roberts, Partner at Pinsent Masons and Rachael Walker, Associate Director at Turner and Townsend.
The conference also discussed further key industry topics including:
