G&T Inc Announces Appointment of New Managing Director

Gardiner & Theobald Inc has announced the stepping down of Managing Director, Andrew Mann, after 26 years at the helm and the appointment of Jonathan Andrew.

Outgoing Managing Director, Andrew Mann, retires from the firm on 31st December 2018 after a long and successful career spanning 40 years. Andrew joined the firm in 1978 and became a partner in 1987.

In 1992 he relocated to the United States to establish G&T Inc, the firm’s US based subsidiary. After a year in Atlanta, Andrew relocated the business to New York City where it has been headquartered for the last 25 years. During his years of service Andrew helped to establish G&T Inc as the largest independent Project and Cost Management firm in New York City as well as establishing successful operations in Miami and Los Angeles.

Jonathan Andrew will take up the role of Managing Director from the 1st January 2019. Jonathan joined G&T in London in 1989 and moved to the New York office in 1997. During his years of service he has gained extensive experience in the New York City marketplace working on prestigious projects across numerous sectors from commercial to residential, hotels to retail.

Andrew and Jonathan worked together, alongside the rest of the senior leadership team in the US and the UK, to build the US business from a standing start to be one of the most successful independent practices in New York City with a $45m+ revenues in 2017/18.
