Leader of Westminster City Council (WCC), Councillor Adam Hug, recently performed the ‘topping out’ of Phase 1 of the Ebury Bridge regeneration project alongside the project team and main contractor Bouygues.

G&T has been working on the development for WCC since 2017 providing Cost Management, Project Management and Employer’s Agent services – from demolition and enabling works to administration of the main works contract.

“This is an exciting moment in the delivery of the Ebury Bridge regeneration scheme.”

The landmark scheme will provide 781 new homes on the central London estate (approximately 50% affordable tenure with the rest being open market sales) together with high quality public realm and community amenities.

WCC has promoted an exemplar approach to sustainability on the development with features including greywater recycling, ground source heat pumps and blue roofs.

Councillor Hug said: “This is an exciting moment in the delivery of the Ebury Bridge regeneration scheme. The building we are stood on today gives all existing Ebury families the chance to come back to a new home. This is part of our commitment to keep the community together for generations to come.”
