Dunfermline Learning Campus

Dunfermline Learning Campus

Dunfermline Learning Campus (DLC) is a collaborative venture between Fife College, Fife Council and their partners to relocate the College’s Halbeath Campus, St Columba’s RC High School and Woodmill High School to a 58 acre purpose-built site in Dunfermline.

G&T is delivering the new college which will provide industry standard workshops, with centres of excellence for engineering, construction, built environment and sport. The college buildings will also provide conference space, an innovation and events hub as well as outdoor learning facilities.

Part funded by the Scottish Government’s LEIP programme, a maximum operational energy target of 67kWh per sqm per annum has been set. Our team is collaborating with Scottish Futures Trust and Zero Waste Scotland on this pathfinder project, which is set to become the first net zero tertiary education building in Scotland.

Environmental plans include enhanced wildlife corridors, new habitat areas and a sustainable drainage strategy to support a low carbon energy infrastructure.
