View ServiceMatthew Rosewell, G&T Partner, has been elected to the newly formed British Council for Offices (BCO) London Committee.
The newly formed Regional Committee unites 13 industry experts, with a common focus on bringing debate, learning, networking and wellbeing to its members.
The BCO's core mission is to research, develop and communicate best practices across all aspects of the office sector. It achieves this by offering a platform for discussion and debate around critical industry issues. Supporting this goal, the BCO maintains various committees tasked with specific responsibilities, including research, regional and international development, and nurturing the next generation of industry professionals.
Regional committees, such as London's, primarily promote the BCO's work locally by focusing on topics of local interest. This is achieved through a range of activities designed to complement national BCO efforts, including:
• Promoting the BCO to broader regional audiences.
• Organising a diverse programme of topical talks and office tours.
• Launching BCO research locally to ensure effective knowledge sharing.
• Facilitating collaboration to produce cutting-edge research.
• Managing an annual regional awards programme to celebrate excellence.
• Engaging closely with national committees and the Management Executive.
Matthew Rosewell has been selected as one of these 13 experts and will lead the 'Research and Seminar' initiative within the London Committee. Matthew's extensive experience managing complex, mixed-use projects — from initial concept through to completion — and his consistent drive for innovation and industry-leading practices, will significantly contribute to shaping informed discussions and enhancing the future of workplace environments.
"I'm delighted to be part of the BCO London Committee, particularly leading the 'Research and Seminar' initiative. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with industry leaders on critical issues such as retrofit innovation and sustainability, ultimately shaping healthier, more efficient and future-ready workplaces across London.”Matthew Rosewall
