G&T's NextGen Take to the Tees
G&T’s NextGen took to the course at one of G&T's most innovative projects, the Greenwich Peninsula Driving range, for an evening of networking and friendly competition.
50 NextGen from across the built environment enjoyed an evening at earlier this month for a night of golf and networking. As part of G&T’s wider NextGen programme, employees hosted an evening of golf at one of the most exciting venues in Greenwich.
Competitions held on the night included nearest the pin and the longest drive. The winners announced on the evening were:
- Men’s longest drive winner – Toby Pentecoste, Candour Group
- Women’s longest drive winner – Sophie Maubon, Waugh Thistleton Architects
- Nearest the pin winner – Kieran O’Brien, G&T
"It was a real pleasure to return to this project after four years. The venue has exceeded all expectations and is one of the most successful driving ranges in the country."G&T Partner, Oliver Booth
The Driving Range opened in 2015 and forms part of the Greenwich Peninsula redevelopment that aims to transform the area. The 60-bay two tier driving range also includes a private entertaining space at the back of each bay and has a large restaurant and wine bar that stocks over 600 varieties.
“It was a real pleasure to return to this project after four years. The venue has exceeded all expectations and is one of the most successful driving ranges in the country. This was the third time G&T has hosted this event and its popularity was reflected in another stellar turnout.”
